Wedding dress trends for 2014 – Spring Catwalks

With the Spring 2014 Bridal catwalks now well and truly over, we here at PaperGrace were truly overwhelmed by the sheer choice of beautiful wedding gowns that were showcased!
As ever there were some sure trends that stood out across each of the designer shows, so if you are looking to know what’s hot for 2014, here are our top picks for the Key Wedding Dress Trends 2014!
Black and White
This classic colour combination is perfect for the fashion forward brides out there! Highlights of black against bright whites, brought new dimensions to the traditional and minimalistic shapes.

Short ‘N’ Sweet
There were so many short style wedding dresses seen on this seasons catwalks, we were spoilt for choice! An ever-growing popular choice for brides-to-be, with 50’s & 60’s shapes being key.

Beautifully Vintage
A trend that has been prominent for a few years, but it is showing no signs of going anywhere! Fine exquisite lace seen throughout, with sleeves and contrast belt details refreshing the trend.

Fishtail

Minimal
This trend is all about the cut of the dress which creates a simple but beautiful and graceful look. Silk and satins are bias cut as to assure the dress falls in the most elegant of ways.

Shoulders and Sleeves
This is another trend that looks to be sticking around, thanks to the Duchess of Cambridge. Usually seen in lace or sheer fabric, which create illusion neck lines and shoulders. Wider shoulders and looser sleeves move this look forward from previous seasons.
