BLACK & WHITE MODERN LUXE WEDDING

2nd January 2021

Modern Wedding Table number

After a tough year for weddings in 2020, things have already started to look up with our stationery being featured on the amazing Together Journal blog!
I have a good feeling for 2021, so let’s hope things continue this way and current restrictions in the UK can be lifted, so couples can finally plan and have the weddings they have dreamed of, and so deserve.

Summer is usually a time where I am busy working on ‘on the day stationery’ such as menus, table plans and wedding signage, but because not much of this happened this summer, it meant that I had a bit more time to take part and collaborate in several stunning wedding styled shoots, which I’m extremely proud of.
So I was over the moon when I found out this ‘Black and White Luxe’ wedding styled shoot was going to be featured on Together Journal. I am huge fan of this trend setting magazine and wedding blog based in New Zealand – if you are looking for some serious modern and contemporary wedding inspiration, then TG is a must view.

Black and White Modern Luxe was planned by Hannah at Studio Porter and photographer Charlie at Westlake Photography and has a timeless and romantic feel reaching to modern couples looking for a hint of luxury while keeping in touch with elegance and minimalism.

Inspired by Black Tie and quotes from Coco Chanel, and being complete and utter romantics at heart, Hannah and Charlie wanted to create a beautiful love story; one filled with intimate moments, effortless details and modern textures and contrasts.

The wedding stationery colour palette was kept fairly monochrome, softened with neutral tones. The wedding invitation was a chic and minimal design, finished off with some script calligraphy, paired with a nude coloured RSVP and vellum ‘this is our love story’ note. The invitation suite can be bundled together to create a modern layered wedding stationery set.

I created a die cut arch shape wedding welcome sign, which offered a wow statement at the entrance to the venue. I then of course had to carry this shape over to matching cute black and white tags for the table scape.

I hope you love and find the shoot inspiring as much as I do.

Happy New Year to each and everyone of you. 2021 let’s make this a year to remember for weddings.
