Real Wedding Stationery Inspiration: Shelby & Callum at The Engine Works, Glasgow
5th February 2026
When Shelby and Callum first approached us about their wedding at The Engine Works in Glasgow, we knew their stationery needed to strike a delicate balance. They wanted something that felt soft and romantic, yet bold enough to stand up to the industrial, architectural beauty of their venue.
They chose our Enchanted Bows collection, and the result was, quite literally, a dream.
The Design: Oval Shapes, Bows, and Minimalist Elegance
The “Enchanted Bows” suite is all about texture and silhouette. For Shelby and Callum, we utilised:
Die-cut Oval Edges: To add a playful, on trend feel to the traditional wedding invitation.
Minimalist Bow Motifs: A nod to the massive bow trends thats taken over the wedding world.
Luxury Cardstock: Ensuring that even the simplest menu felt like a keepsake for the guests.
One of the highlights of this wedding was seeing the stationery act as a “thread” that tied the entire venue together.
In the industrial space of The Engine Works, the oval edge seating chart became a focal point under the festoon lights. On the tables, individual menus nestled among candle-lit centerpieces created an atmosphere of intimate, high-end dining.
Why “The Bow Trend” is Here to Stay
We are seeing a huge shift toward wedding branding -where couples choose a motif (like our Enchanted Bow) and carry it through from the Save the Date to the Place Cards. It’s a way to make the day feel curated and intentional.
For Shelby and Callum, the bows weren’t just a detail; they were a signature.
