Engaged Today – its not the end of the world!

So, according to an interpretation of the Mayan Calendar, today happens to be the predicted end of the world as we know it. It also happens to be the anniversary of the day I got engaged.

I still remember the excitement, and for us girls, becoming a bride to be is one of THE most exciting things we have dreamt of…until that realisation of all the planning that lies ahead (aaarggh!).

But don’t be put off. Writing lists is an essential part of staying organised and they act as a crutch when it all feels like it getting too much. Don’t forget, it’s okay to ask for help and letting people help and trusting them can be a huge weight of your shoulders.
